The school counselor works with students through a program of diverse services, each of which is designed to help students learn and develop to their highest potential. Typically, the counselor works with students individually, in small groups and in the classroom to address their educational, personal, and emotional needs.
Some of the issues addressed in school counseling are
- problem solving
- conflict resolution
- social skills development
- anger management
- stress management.
Counseling is available to all students at St Vincent de Paul.
