Many thanks to the SVdP PTO, and to all the Tiger Patio donors for this excellent addition to our school, for our students to enjoy.
The 70th Anniversary Time Capsule was blessed by Monsignor Bill Young after Mass on Friday, August 15. It was then buried by Monsignor and Principal Carolyn Sears on Wednesday, August 20. It is scheduled to be opened at SVdP's 100th Anniversary in 2044. It includes submissions from students, faculty and staff from the 2013-14 school year, plus poignant letters to the future from Monsignor and Mrs. Sears. It is buried in the northwest corner of the patio, and designated with a plaque.

From the Tiger Patio committee:
Thank you to everyone who supported this project! Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to add a seating wall to the patio with the extra funds raised above the initial goal.
We'd like to especially thank Brindley Drake, and the students she worked with to produce the video.
We'd also like to thank the eighth grade class of 2013-14 for directing their entire eighth grade class gift toward the Tiger Patio.
